Central to our approach is the concept of community.
Composed Giving’s collaboration with local groups and social service organizations goes beyond transactional interactions. We actively engage with these partners to understand the distinct needs and challenges of the various and diverse communities within LA county.
By tailoring our efforts and donations to specific circumstances and demographics, we ensure that our support is targeted, relevant, and impactful. Kindness is the heart that beats within Composed Giving.
Every interaction, whether it's a volunteer helping someone choose an outfit for an interview or a recipient expressing gratitude, contributes to a chain reaction of positivity and empathy. Our aim is not only to provide essential items but to create an environment where individuals feel seen, valued, and supported.
Through the Composed Giving program and events, we nurture the spirit of giving back to the community. By instilling the value of kindness, we hope to inspire a generation of changemakers who continue to pay it forward, amplifying the impact of our efforts and creating a compassionate legacy for years to come!

Sustainability
Sustainability is not just a buzzword for us; it's a commitment to responsible and conscious practices. Composed Giving is dedicated to making a lasting impact on the lives of individuals in need, as well as on the environment.
When we receive donations from the community, our team sorts each item to ensure it ends up in the most appropriate place. We prioritize gifting items that can be used again directly to those in need in the community, whether by gifting to individuals or other charitable organizations. Items that cannot be reused are very thoughtfully recycled or upcycled! We work with textile recyclers and animal shelters to ensure that stained or torn fabrics, beddings, and towels are given new life. We responsibly recycle e-waste, and any remaining items we try to re-home through our local Buy Nothing community. Our goal is always to ensure that the only items we throw away truly belong in a landfill, and we do our best to extend the life-cycle of everything we can.
