Every donation has a destination and a purpose. Through partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, shelters, and community organizations, Composed Giving thoughtfully matches donated items with the people who need them most. From supporting foster youth and families rebuilding their lives to advancing sustainability through thoughtful reuse, every item helps create safe, functional spaces where people can rebuild with dignity, stability, and hope.

*our impact during the devastating wildfires of early 2025 is not included here. During that time, we were able to support 1000+ families with essential items, clothing, and home goods.

Our Areas of Impact

Our work reaches every corner of the community. Explore the nine primary areas where your donations make a meaningful difference.

  • Supporting children and young adults transitioning into foster care, independent living, and adulthood with the essentials they need to thrive. We partner with organizations like A Sense of Home who furnish first ever homes for those transitioning out of the foster care system.

  • Providing household essentials and furnishings to individuals and families moving from homelessness or temporary housing into permanent homes. A few of our favorite charity partners include Hope the Mission and New Friends Homeless Center.

  • Partnering with organizations that support families experiencing hardship by providing clothing, household goods, baby items, and everyday essentials.

  • Supporting LGBTQ+ organizations and individuals with donated items that help create safe, affirming, and welcoming spaces.

  • Providing towels, blankets, pet supplies, and other donated items to improve the care and comfort of animals in need.

  • Extending the life of quality items through thoughtful reuse while responsibly recycling materials that can no longer be donated, reducing waste and protecting our environment.

  • Helping neighbors share resources locally by redistributing items directly within the community, ensuring useful goods stay in circulation.

  • Equipping students with school supplies, dorm essentials, household items, and other resources that support learning and independence.

  • Responding to individual requests and urgent needs from community members when immediate assistance can make a meaningful difference.
